You won't be acting alone, citizens in Canada and Europe have spontaneously started boycotting travel to the US, stopped buying Tesla's and other US branded products too. However by avoiding products from our every day lives we can add further pressure.

The new 47th US President Donald Trump seeks to overturn the US constitution, its system of democracy, and abandon the US role of supporting democracy throughout the world. One major consequence of his election is that he reverses US support for Ukraine's defence against the Russian invasion, and he seeks to restore diplomatic relations with President Putin, who has an international arrest warrant for committing war crimes.

Since becoming president on January 20th 2025, Donald Trump has set an agenda that seeks to give himself absolute authority and undermine the US constitution. US citizens including those that voted for him are rising up in protest at his policies, they need our support.
When Putins Russia invaded Ukraine for the second time on Feb 24th 2022 they started the first major armed conflict in Europe since WW2, 75 years of peace ended. We need the US to stand by its democratic allies instead of going to war with them. If Russia is seen to be victorious Europe will live with the threat of further Russian aggression, they won't stop until they have reclaimed their former empire.
Every time you avoid buying a US brand product you can be Democracy Champion. Members of Trump's Republican Party are too weak to stand up to him, but they will listen to the major US corporations who fund them. If enough of us act the message will get through to Trump.
